Can I say I called it?

One day into writing on this thing and I have already have one prediction! Brad Childress is gone, and with it the confusing offensive calls and thick lip hair. Now the Vikings are back on track for the long run. And I would like to be one of the first to welcome Leslie Frasier to the Head Coach position. Lets hope he can bring this team back to its potential... next year. I'm not saying we should dog every game left, just that it would be beneficial if we did. We need a higher draft pick(s) in order to start to make this team younger, faster, stronger. During the next cold Mondays i want to see what we have going forward on this team. I would consider this a free tryout for anyone willing to step up and take and seal a spot on this team for next year by what they do in the final weeks. In my opinion if we wait till training camp/ pre-season we will be vulnerable to the "Cook Mirage" where once the season comes the work load is to hefty for a rookie to step in and fill a major void.

It is official, Minnesota does have a team that you can watch until the end and not be disappointed. It's like a movie where you know there is going to be a final battle scene and the good guy dies because it's "historically accurate" I'm a sucker for the happy endings. Twins, Vikings, Gopher football all came in with high hopes of going further than the year before, none came out successful. With our 15 or 17 ranked team (depending on the poll) we have a squad who might actually be on a screen that uses a remote and not a mouse. I really don't have anything negative to say about the Gophers: smart, athletic, big, mature, exciting, and most of all, good. I'm jaw dropping to the floor in awe of the talent that Minnesota and Tubby have accumulated over the past four years. My next notion to the world as an amature blogger is to promote Tubby to the head of football recruiting for the football team, yes i do believe he can do better than anyone Maturi can hire to come to Minne-snow-ta. Once we get Devoe Joseph back from where ever he is (I'm guessing he was too busy helping charities and helping with his church) I will know, along with everyone else what this team has got for this and next year.

With having this site to put my thoughts into words, I can't help but talk about the holidays and everything that is positive with the up coming events. The holidays really helps me focus on life, family, and friends. My favorite nights last year was going out to movies or playing games with the family, getting close to my friends literally (suck in cars with no place to crash) and figuratively. You can't be in a bad mood with a warm house, a waft of Cinnamon and an automatic fire place illuminate the whole house, and Christmas music delicately humming in the background. The only thing that would make this Christmas any better is world piece, Santa must have other little boys and girls to give it too.

That's all today,
Comment, enjoy.

  1. I'm not gonna sit and critizice this whole thing but I do have a few things I need too say.. A. We all knew childress was gonna be gone so not too hard to predict that one. B. throwing a season is not the thing to do If your trying too see what talent you have for next year, how is it possible too try hard too gain a spot while still tryin to throw away games? And in order too see if t jack is truly the "prodigy qb" of the team we must still play our best players and go for wins. And c. I agree with the fact that gophers are much better than in the past but it's WAY too early too see the real talent we have until conference play starts especially
with the couple of dumbasses on the squad. The gophers are my second favorite squad but I've yet too be convinced that this year will really be as good as were makin it out too be.
